Huntsville, AL – Book Systems, Inc., an innovative leader, and provider of library automation solutions, is pleased to announce the 12.9 release of their Atriuum Integrated Library System (ILS).
Many new enhancements were added to help libraries get back in operation and opened to the public. These include features for Library Kiosk/Locker support, Mobile Self-Checkout App for Patrons, Item Quarantine, Item-pickup Notifications with Instructions, Patron PIN Security Enhancements, Auto-Renewal of Items, Automatic/Temporary Patron Card Approval, and Additional Reserve Slip Configurations. Other enhancements include Branch and Reserve Statistic Reports, new Librarian Desktop and OPAC themes, and improvements to Acquisitions.
We have added online payment integrations with Comprise SmartPay and an API for hoopla along with this update. The hoopla API eliminates having to load or manage MARC records in the catalog. Patrons can easily search and find content available in hoopla with results displayed in the OPAC on a separate tab.
